There’s an Angel in our midst…
Our 93 year old Golden Harvest no. 1 resident, Viv Pope, shared good news and gave accolades to the care centre staff and her fellow residents.
“When home after returning from my doctor who had cut out a large sore from my leg, I experienced bad bleeding. I didn’t have my panic button but was able to call a fellow resident at around 5 o’clock. Two minutes later Sharol appeared and called for a wheelchair. She took me to our Care Centre where the duty sister immediately called an ambulance. Sharol went with me to the Olivedale Hospital and stayed with me all the time I was at the emergency centre. At eleven o’clock Sharol phoned her husband and asked him to fetch us. I spent the rest of the night in the Village Care Centre where I received excellent service from our caring staff. It’s a privilege to be at the Golden Harvest 1 with such considerate neighbours and benefit from the excellent care centre services. Our village is the right place to be. Viv”
