The Golden Harvest No 1 Retirement Village, in Bromhof, Randburg, Johannesburg, offers exceptional value for money with security and peace of mind in a garden setting. 

Spacious, affordable cottages are surrounded by beautiful gardens with a wonderful variety of flowers and shrubs. One hundred semi-detached cottages of identical size are situated on a 13 acre property. Pathways in a secure and attractive garden surrounds are ideal for morning and evening walks.

Affordable lunches are served every day of the week in the dining hall. Meals can also be collected or delivered to the residents’ homes. Breakfast, tea, coffee and pastries are available at very reasonable prices from the Dream Bean Coffee Corner located in the dining hall.

The village amenities and activities will contribute to your health, happiness and enjoyment. The many social activities will foster new and valuable friendships.

The professionally managed care centre provides emergency response to residents. Services provided to residents by qualified nursing sisters, free of charge, include blood pressure tests, blood glucose tests and wound dressing. (Only the cost of materials is for the resident’s account.)

A courtesy bus is available three times a week to take residents to selected shopping centres and doctor’s visits as required. The village is located close to many small shopping centres that provide access to your favourite shops, without the need to walk long distances and pay expensive parking fees. Prospective purchasers need to be 55 years of age or older and in reasonable health. No residents under the age of twenty-one are permitted to live permanently in the units. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
